How do I activate the Windows XP Firewall and is it a good idea to activite
it? Thanks.

If you have no other firewall, yes, it's a great idea to activate it! :) =
Find your way to the Network Connections control panel. Right-click =
the connection you wish to enable the firewall on. Choose Properties. =
Go to the Advanced tab of the properties window. The checkbox for the =
firewall is right at the top.

It's on the Advanced tab on your connection properties. It works fine if
your computer is directly connected to the Internet, but if you are
behind a cable/DSL router, the firewall will disable file and printer
sharing, so beware.

It doesn't have many features, so it can be difficult to diagnose if it
is interfering with anything you are doing on the Internet.
