disabling capture devices

I am having problems removing microsoft wdm image capture
from the system. This is apparently blocking my webcam
from working properly in msn messenger 6 and it causes an
crash of my computer this so frustrating. Can anyone help.

If you remove this device then there will be no camera installed. It will
not be just the camera causing itself to crash the system. You should try
updating the drivers or better still, uninstalling all devices related to
your camera and reinstalling them.
