Hi All,
Just started having this strange problem whereby I open certain windows and
those windows have their bottom component hidden by the Task Bar. For
example if I open Start >> All Programs then the bottom of that program list
is obscured by the Task Bar. Any ideas ??
Regards Ron H.

You can right click the task bar select properties and remove 'keep the
taskbar on top of other windows'. Then, when you open 'all programs' drag
the bottom upwards (shorten the height of the window) .Then go back and turn
on 'keep the taskbar on top of other windows'.

Hi "Unknown"
Thankyou for your help so far. The problem is that when I open "All
Programs" then there is nowhere to "grab it" and drag it. Every portion on
that window is taken up with a program activation - so where do I grab it to
drag it.

Strangely enough, the only window that goes OVER my task bar is the
'start--all programs' window. All others are under the task bar or adjusted
in height so as not to interfere with the taskbar. I apparently misread your
post. I am at a loss for ideas.
