I'm using XP Home, IE 6.0
For some reason there are certain links that don't work when I'm using this
computer - but the links work when I check them from another computer. I
guess this is a problem with my IE, how can I fix this?

What kind of Internet connection do you use? It could be an MTU
problem.

It's a cable/broadband connection. It's only a couple links (same ones every
time) on a couple of websites. Everything else seems to work fine.

Hm, if it's only a few sites and all others work, then the next
thing I'd do is open a command line windows and type the
following, assuming the site you can't reach is www.xxx.com:

tracert www.xxx.com

This will show you a list of the routers involved. Perhaps the
sites have something in common and the mistake is with the cable
ISP.

What exactly happens when you try to open one of the problem web
pages? Which error message do you get, if any?

Could you list a few of the problem web addresses here?
