Saving a username/password in Dial-up Network connections

Does anyone know how save the username/password in a dial-
up networking connection to be displayed upon the CTRL-ALT-
DEL, (checking off logon using dial-up connection).
When creating the connection profile in windows and makin
a shortcut to the desktop it saves the information, but
when you try to use the connection BEFORE you have logged
into windows, it puts in the username of your NT logon,
which I don't want. This username/password is long and
criptic and I can see users putting the yellow sticky on
their computer to try and remember what it is.
