scrolling in XP Home

Please tell me how I can change from wave-like scrolling
to the old moving page version ??

In Internet Explorer, select Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab. Remove the
check mark from the "Use smooth scrolling" option.

Dear Mr. vernon:
Thank you for the suggestion. I was unsuccessful in
causing a change. This scrolling is present in all my
applications using XP, such as MS Word, and not just
Internet Explorer.
