LSA shell/system shutdown

I have recently been getting a LSA shell program failure
and the system shuts down and trys to reboot.
I have Dsl modem hooked to a Lynksys 10/100 ethernet card.
All worked well until recently.
I was getting it on XP home edition and recently installed
XP pro.
This is getting very frustrating.
Please help.
