I am having trouble staying connected through my wireless router. There are
multiple wireless connections in my area. As the connection fades in and out
on some of the wireless connections it kicks me off giving me a choice of my
connections. About every 5-10 min, I am kicked off and have to reconnect to
my netowrk. What i want to do is ignore all other connections except one, my
wireless connection. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

First of all I'd advise that YOUR router be a wireless G
router and encrypt the network.

Second see how many lightbulbs are around each computer,
this may be an issue.

Make shure you have your antenna pointed in the right
direction.

Make shure you can intercept packets.

Make shure your router and modem are attached to the wall
(both on 1 power strip).

If your going to use Bit Torrents , only do 1 at a time
and only @ 10k

Dont mess around mess around with bridges.

Hi.

Unfortunately the connections will always appear indicating that there are
other signals around. I addition if you have a 2.4GHz Telephone upgrade to
5.8GHz or downgrade to 900MHz.

However if you configure your Wireless with unique names and play with the
channels they still be there but they might not interfere.
