View Full Version : SP2 and slow IE

Hi, I just installed SP2. I've had no problems with the upgrade, however ...
I now find that IE just crawls along. It's even slower than over 56k dialup
(I've 512k DSL). It only seems to be IE that's slow online. Netscape, Opera
etc are just zipping along.
Any tips or advice?

Well, there's no adware nor spyware on my pc. It's clean and regularly
checked. I've AVG for anti-virus, and ZoneAlarm firewall.
I've defragged the disks, and cleared my system.
The problem is ONLY with IE, and not with anything else. Otherwise, my PC
sings along. (3.25Ghz P4 processor, and 1.5gb ram).
I just wondered if it's something new in IE after the SP2 is installed.
