My SP2 download and installation appears to have gone very well. After
re-booting, security center even recognized my 2004 Symantec Internet
Security as the working firewall and left it that way. Emails send right
away from Outlook and other problems in your bulletins don't seem (yet
anyway) to be affecting me. EXCEPT my recycle bin is now a (windows folder)
icon. It seems to function normally when right clicking but would like very
much for it to look like a trash can again. XP property's do not give an
option to change icon.

OS is XP home w/SP2 installed, Internet Security 2004, Norton System works
2003 and MS Office XP. I'll remain pretty calm if I can get back my trash
can, otherwise I could turn into a blithering, stupid, drooling, keyboard
idiot (should be an icon that looks like that description) that messes up
his whole show. Help me ??

Hey Jim,
To change Recycle Bin Icon.
Open Display in Control Panel > Select DESKTOP > Customize Desktop > Restore
Defaults
Should be good from there. (now clean that keyboard before it shorts out ;) )
