I am having a problem setting my homepage...it keeps going back to about.com
or another one. I an set the homepage on the yahoo website, going into
internet options, and msn website, but it still goes back to about.com or the
other one.
I have scanned with adware, spybot, and yahoo pop up blocker, and I know it
is an adware/spyware program that is causing this.
I have also gone onto add/remove programs and tried to remove Pgate Basic,
the one I think is the culprit, but an error message pops up and it cannot be
removed.
Actually, there are quite a number of programs that cannot be removed,
including weatherbug and a game I previously installed called lemonade
tycoon. Many of the spyware programs cannot be removed also.
Where do I go to from here? t/y for the help

Update your virus defs. and do a virus scan. You could have a trojan virus on
your PC that is changing your home page.

Thanks
