View Full Version : Event Viewer- repost

(Sorry, should have been new post, not tacked on the old one)
No responses to my previous post, so I will simplify my query.

In Event Viewer (eventvwr), both in Application & System, the dates begin at
01/01/1970 and run fairly consecutively only as far as 23/02/2003, then is
followed by a dozen entries dated from 1 to 10/10/2033, which makes it
impossible for general troubleshooting !! (This PC is only 2 years old).

Does anyone know if it's possible to clear & then reset Event Viewer so I
can resume with a clean slate and a current date?

Thanks, Mary, I've already been through that. It's only to do with viewing &
handling, nothing about troubleshooting :-(
