The colour on my screen is screwed!

Ok, this morning I got on my computer, and all the colour is compleatly
screwed! I tried the colour setting thingy...there was only one colour
seting: low. Where the hell did all my other colour settings go? I need a
higher one becouse now everything on my computer looks crap. I tried the help
files, no help. Do I need to trash this computer?

Hi,
It sounds like the Video driver has become corrupted, do you know what
video card you have installed? If so visit the manufacturers website and
download the latest drivers.

If you do no know what your video card is and you do not have a
manufacturers driver CD then try the following.

Click on Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager >
Click on Plus next to Display Adapters. There should be a single entry in
that section, make a note of it. If it is obvious what the make and model of
the adapter is then visit the manufacturers website and download the drivers.
If you are unsure then post the details here and we can advise on the best
course of action.

If for whatever reason there is no entry in Device Manager then download the
Belarc advisor from http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html as this will
scan your computer and give you a list of devices installed.
