I am trying to install the admin pack for 2003 on my
Windows XP Professional with SP2 installed and I get an
error message that says it cannot be installed because I
must be running Windows XP Professional service pack 1.

I cannot find any solutions in the knowledge base so I am
turning to the newsgroup. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Nico

Hi

I suspect you try to install Final Beta version (RC2) of adminpak.msi
(was publicly available for a while ago).

Be sure to use this RTM version:

Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack

using Windows XP Professional-based clients or Windows Server
2003-based clients

I tried the link Torgeir list below and it was of no use. In fact, I forgot
that I had tried some time ago. I am now stuck with SP2 and no admin pack
that is usable! I can uninstall SP2 but then it tells that about a dozen of
my programs may not work properly! Go figure....

Any other ideas?????
