I installed the recovery console in my system ( SP1 ) , using the
command line in Help :

D:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons

After SP2 , I have new files at :

C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\I386

Is it necessary to install a new recovery console after SP2 ?

In this case , the new install path for recovery console should be
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\I386 ???

Installing SP2 updates the installed recovery console.
To verify, boot the recovery console.

will pre-sp1 console operate in the sp2 environment in dos mode? how can I
extract all the console files to a new cd, update them to sp2 and run my own
boot disc without an OS on the disk?

I'm creating a boot cd that can boot your choice of boot disk for all
operating systems from one cd for the ultimate boot and repair cd. any help
will be appreciated
