I am using XP Home and am the "owner-administrator" user.
I have added shortcuts (WordPerfect & MS Word) to
my "send to" folder, but when I right click on a file and
access the "send to" command, the shortcuts I have added
do not show up as an option. Is there a reason why?

I don't know about WP but shortcuts installed by Windows Installers (as =
word's is) won't work in sendto because they don't support drag and =
drop. You need to create a windows shortcut to winword.exe and use this =
shortcut in Sendto. You create a windows shortcut by right clicking a =
folder or desktop background and choosing New - Shortcut then browse to =
winword.exe.
