When I try to access regedit, it comes into view for about 2 seconds and
then it disappears. Also does same thing when I press ctrl, alt, del.
Anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to fix this. Just acts like I
have a pop-up killer that zaps them. (I dont')

Sounds like you may have a virus. You will need to check and clean that =
up if so. But you can try locating regedit.exe and renaming it to =
regedit.com. Type that at the run command and see if you can get it to =
open that way.

Usually it's caused by Klez or Yaha viruses. Users typically report that it
closes as soon as it opens. So test for this first.

There can be other causes, but the above is the most likely.
