XPHome to Win98se Problem

I have tried darn near everything and I still don't get a connection between
the XPHome and The win98se computer. I can access the internet with the
XPHome and I don't need to access the internet with the Win98se. I have
read all the messages that pertain to this problem and have tried them to no
avail. I have deleted ZoneAlarm, and HVG virus checker. All I want to do
is use the Win98se computer as a backup depository. I did this with 2
Win98se's but I can't do this with the XPhome. Please help.

make sure you uninstall zone alarm not disable it
