i want a password before the pc will turn on at all.

i am wanting to know if there is a way to have a password
before on the pc before it gets to the user names. i am
wanting to be the only one to get on the pc at all and i
dont know what to do. so when i boot up i want it to ask
me my password before it goes any futher...thanks

What you want is a BIOS password. Read the instruction manual for how to
access the BIOS and set one. If you don't have a manual, visit the mfg's
site and search for "BIOS Password."
