Hey all...

New to the forum, beautiful site, by the way...

Just a quick question, and please be patient, I'm real dumb when it comes to computers and all..

When trying to download a .wmv file from the Internet, I get the message along the lines of "Cannot find C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files".

Why is this and what can I do to fix it? It's really starting to infuriate me.

Thanks in advance!!! :)

The directory, Temporary Internet Files, does not exist. Solution: Change
your
settings in your ISP (Internet Service Provider) browser to where you want
downloaded files to go, i.e. C:\Windows\Downloads. You may need to create
this directory using Windows Explorer. That way when you download any file
from the Internet it will automatically go to that directory (Downloads) and
will
be easier for you to find later.
To create that directory, do this:
Open Windows Explorer and click File (top left)>New>Folder and type Downloads.
Windows Explorer is located under All Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer
If you share your PC with other users you may want to put the directory under
Shared Documents so all have access.

I'm no expert, but I did stay at
the Holiday Inn last night.
