SP2 Update

While trying to do a SP2 update the ie screen stops on
the screen "Checking for the latest version of the
Windows Update software..." and never completes the
update. I did receive a "Done" message in the lower left
corner of the ie screen.

This was suggested by another user recently and seemed to work for him and some
others:

At command prompt type each of these commands and look for "success"
indication:

regsvr32 wuapi.dll
regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
regsvr32 atl.dll
regsvr32 wucltui.dll
regsvr32 wups.dll

Otherwise:
When searching for available updates on the Windows Update site, you see the
0x8007043B error
This error may occur if the WUAUSERV and BITS services are not configured
properly in the registry.
