I've installed the SP2 for window xp. I run the security
package from McAffee, antivirus, firewall, privacy.
Since installing SP2, it seems to offer similar features.
Right now I've set McAffee to do the security which meant
disabling the SP2 security. I need advice on that.
Should I stick with McAffee?

I have exactly the same setup. Disable the Windows Firewall and enable all
McAfee services. Make sure you click their update button to get the latest
updates. Windows Firewall only protects against incoming traffic, McAfee
protects both directions.
There is one issue with Viruscan 9 with SMTP pop-ups about outgoing mail
which is under discussion in the McAfee Forums and they are working on a
fix.
