What is the best way to take downloaded drivers and programs and transfer
them from the desktop to a CDRW disk for PERMANENT backup? I've been right
clicking them, selecting copy, than pasting them on the CD. Then I'm
deleting the downloaded file from the desktop. My objective is to have the
drivers and programs available to execute again if I need to reinstall XP.
By doing it this way, am I moving the file or just copying it to the disk.
Reason I ask is that I'm wondering what actually happens to the driver or
program I've pasted on the disk AFTER I delete the original? Is there a
better way, or more positive way to get a permanent usable file or program
on the disk than the way I'm doing it? I recently had a transferred folder
with a driver in it pasted on the disk and when I reinstalled XP, it was no
longer there!!! I checked show all files and folders and that was buttoned
ok. Why did I lose this transferred folder that was there before??
Thanks,
Dudley

www.ahead.de

Download Nero, Install it. Create New Data CD, drag and drop the files from
the right to the left. If cd isn't full, select Multisession.

Burn
