Hi,

I have a problem with wmplayer.adm and GPMC ( ver 1.0.1 ) after installing
the final release of SP2 for WindowsXP.
When looking on settings report of a GPO in GroupPolicy console, I receive
this error:

"The .adm file "%windir%\inf\wmplayer.adm" is not in a valid format and must
be replaced. Details: A string is expected at line 0."

Any idea on how to fix it ?

Regards,

Simone

Open the file in Notepad. Its in C:\Windows\Inf. Make sure that the =
first line of the file isn't blank.

Sorry but the file is ok. I found that I have no "WINDIR" variable and this
is also why my "Help&Support" service wont start.

As soon as I come back in office I will try GPMC with windir correctly
loaded....
