View Full Version : Major SP2 Problem

Today I was trying to install the Windows SP2 onto my computer, and as it was
installing, it said that one of the system files that was to be copied was
missing. I figured that if I skipped over it, the file from before would be
used instead, and if there were any problems, I would just uninstall SP2
afterward.

But after it finished reinstalling and I restarted the computer, all hell
has broken loose. As it starts up, it reaches the Windows loading screen, and
then restarts again. It continues to do this over and over. PLEASE tell me
that there is a way to recover without having to reformat. I have some
documents that absolutely need to be saved. I really appreciate whatever help
I can get. Thanks.
