sp2 security Icon in System Tray

Is there a way to remove Security Center Icon in the system tray? I'ts just
a redundant feature for me.

Go to the Security Center applet in Control Panel and change how it
alerts you from the options on the left.

Start, control panel, security center, set it's options the way you want.
Make sure to set - change the way security center alerts me - as well.
