Can anyone suggest something that might work.
Have Installed a USB modem...Installed with no problems and no flags..
When is try to set up faxing
I'm asked for "The file "fxscount.h" on windows XP professional CD Rom
needed"
I put the disk in and get this error message.
Set up cannot copy file"fxscount.h_"
I copied the l386 Directory to the hard drive as Uncle Bill suggested....But
same problem
Also tried to install from the CD by using the"Install optional Windows
components"
Get same results
Thanks in advance

FAX works only on a telephone modem that is data/fax rated.
FAXes are sent from your machine, whether a stand-alone FAX
or your computer over telephone lines.
Your USB modem must be connected to the dial-up telephone
line and not to a broadband connection such as cable or DSL.
If you do not have a telephone connection or a conventional
FAX modem, you can find a fax service which will act as a
proxy for you. These usually cost a fixed subscription and
a per copy/page cost.

Have you opened the control panel add/remove software and
checked to see that the FAX applet is installed?
