Hi
Could anyone tell me how to run chkdsk /f?

My friend is having great difficulty with her computer. She is getting an
error message (on the blue screen) which is:

STOP 0x0000007b (0xf7ac0640, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

then it says to run chckdsk /f. She can only get in Windows XP in safe mode
and it will now allow her to perform this. Gets a message says that as the
applications are being used it will have to be performed at start up, but it
doesn't.

She has an AMD processor and installed SP2 about a week ago and has had
nothing but problems with various programs freezing and the computer
rebooting on its own. She uninstalled SP2 yesterday and now can only get on
in Safe Mode.

Any advice on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Suzie
