View Full Version : Post SP2 Window Size (real pop-up)

I understand the usage of the new popup blocker &
firewall settings. Several sites (including
microsoft.com) I click on certain links, allow the popup
to see the link. Once that window is open, I am unable
to change the size of the window.
www.gamesville.com & game is dominoes. I have played
hundreds of games pre SP2, but now it cuts off the bottom
1"+ of text. I am unable to change the window size
(maximizing is not an option). For instance, this window
to post a new message is a "popup". If there was more
information on this page near the bottom it would be cut
off, and would not be able to select send/cancel.
I have internet explorer
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158. Can anyone help
me? I have searched throughout microsoft.com to find the
answer already. Reminder, it is NOT just the games
site! I am unable to resize the window I'm currently in
also.
Thank you, Keri

Hi Keri
What happens when you drag the window to resize it?
Have you tried posting your question in the Internet Explorer News Group:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser
or

When I try to drag the window to resize it my curser
doesn't move with the mouse. I can't get a horizontal or
verticle (move) arrow. I can get ONE diagnal arrow on
the whole "popup" pointed (like a clock @ 11:23). The
window will not change sizes when I actually get that
move curser.
I looked in the two links you suggested, not that many
postings there, especially of this category. If anyone
has an alternation solution it would be appreciated.
Thanks, Keri
