Cannot install SP2

SP2 will not install. Installation stops at:

"The file \AppPatch\drvmain.sdb is open and cannot be
closed.

I tried to rename drvmain.sdb did not help. I tried
installing SP2 from Safe Mode did not help, re installed
XP then tried SP2 did not help.
Need ideas

Hello Terry,

Try to start a windows in selective startuup (Msconfig)
Click on start, run and type Msconfig
In the general Tab, mark Selective startup and disable "Load statup itens"
Go to Services Tab, click in Hide All Microsoft services, and than click in
the button Disable All
Click on Apply than Close.
Restart your computer and try to install SP2.

Airton, thanks for the info, however it did not help. SP2=20
will still not install. Because of drvmain.sbd
