After installing SP2 I have noticed that my PC is now constantly freezing
for a few seconds then resuming as normal. It is more noticeable while
playing music as everything stops while it "thinks"! What is causing this
and how do I fix it?
Thanks,
Sarah

Never Mind Ben. He is a pessimistic Democrat watching life crumble before
his very eyes.

Freezing can be caused by:
a) Power supply problems
b) Over heating
c) Old or bad drivers
d) Conflicts in hardware or drivers
e) Software

First place to look is the Event Viewer and look for errors, also look
in the Device Manager for problematic drivers.
