I have automatic updates turned on and still do not have SP2. Tried
downloading manually and failed (3) times. I see that me automatic updates
are set to come to me at 3:00 AM everyday. My PC is normally not turned on
then. Should I change this time? Do I need to be logged in as an
administrator? How do I do that? Also, do I need to disable my Norton
Anti-Virus for this to download properly? Lot of questions!

I never uses Windows Update to install a service pack.

To install SP2 without using WU:

SP2 is available at the Microsoft Download Center
(standalone "network" version, 266 MB):

If you think that download is to large, you can get the same
file on a CD from Microsoft.
