View Full Version : Address Bar not available in Internet Explorer
December 10th 03, 11:31 PM
"HELP" My address bar has never showed up since I've
installed Windows XP in my computer. I've done the
View/customize the tool bar and it should be showing but
is not???? Has anyone else ever had this problem and
found the solution? If so PLEASE email me with the
answer. It will be much appreciated. Hope to hear from
someone ASAP.
Many Thanks!!

Make sure the toolbars are not locked - right click in the toolbar area and
uncheck "Lock the toolbars." Then look very closely at the "handles" for
the various components in the toolbar area. It is likely that the Address
bar got "squished" between two of the handles or it is too close to the
edge on a toolbar line and is not displaying.
If still no luck, try the program at Doug Knox' site for restoring IE and
Explorer toolbars and menus:
