Windows XP Help and Support

I am trying to open windows xp help and support and the
hour glass blinks and nothing happens. What could be
wrong with help?

I have just recovered from exactly the same problem. The cause was I had run
Toni arts Regcleaner and this can remove a necessary registry entry. The
cure was to run a Doug Knox fix tool which can be downloaded from
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/fixwinxphelp.htm

Obviously if you have not run RegCleaner this will not be the solution for
you though it may help others.
