BUG on MS Media Player in XP SP2

Has anyone else loaded XP SP2 and then played some music
or video using MS Media player?
If so, what happens when you turn the volume down low, or
mute it, THEN jump the song or movie forward a bit? I
get the volume back to FULL on! The sliders remain the
same, but the voume is max'ed out.

Does anyone else get that? I can't see what I'm doing
wrong, so I reckon it's another MS bug that's been
missed.

I reckon it's a large cockroach in your system then...because it
doesn't seem to happen to anyone else. Not that MS software is
cockroach free.....
