new printer wiszard not working

computer won't print .
no icon of printer in 'printer and faxes' -'add new printer' does not work.

then accessing printer throught word or express , the printer icon sayes its
waiting in the que ( of 47 pages to print)

Tryed deleating... then system restore .....
rebooting and computer all the same asabove

Sounds like your print spooler has stopped.

From the Command Prompt, type

net start spooler

and hit enter. You may also have to repeat this on the PC to which the
printer is attached.

No luck 8-(
Command promt says
"the request service has allready been started
more help avalable by typing NETY HELPMSG 2182"
I rebooted but again ....computer won't print .
