Lost

I went into Internet Explorer "Internet options" and
deleted all the temporary Internet Files and cleared all
History.

Unfortunately, there were several URLs keep showing up
when I type www in the Address box in internet explorer.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Open IE, go to Tools/Internet Options on the Advanced Tab uncheck "Use

In Internet Explorer window pick these:
--->Tools button
---->Internet options
----->Content tab
------>Autocomplete button
---------------------------------------------
Use AutoComplete for:
[_] Web addresses
[_] Forms
[_] User names and passwords on forms
Make desired changes on options.
--------------------------------------
-- IE6 Tools button (toolbar)
-- Internet Options
-- Advanced tab
-- Browsing list
-- [_] Use Inline AutoComplete (turn off/on as desired)
-----------------------------------------------
There are lots of autocomplete features in XP. If you are
referring to the URLs then you will need to turn
off "Show
friendly URLs" and "Show friendly HTTP error messages"
and "use inline AutoComplete" and so on. These are in the
tools\internet options-advanced tab.
