When I check my revision history SP2 is not there. The SP2 security features
are missing as well. When I go to the Windows Update page SP2 no longer shows
up as an update.
Where did it go?
What is the best way to comlete the installation.

The update program used in this proceedure believes the sp2 is already
installed. That is the root of the problem

do you think sense update thinks sp2 is already installed there may be any
issues with installing over it? I guess there really isn't much choice though.
Thank you for the link.

Follow the checklist starting by downloading SP-2 or getting a CD as
described in step 1 of the link I gave.
Installing SP-2 on top of what ever files may be there is not a
problem.

No reinstall it if ya want to. If you chose to save the files that are
replaced the first time then don't choose to save them this time. That way
if ya like you can uninstall it and get back to the pre SP2 mess ya
currently have...:)
