mail icon in control panel gone after SP2 update

I no longer have the mail icon in the control panel even through the classic
view after taking the SP2 update. I took the update on two computers: one is
fine while the other is gone. How do I get this icon back? or What is the
command that I can run from a DOS prompt?

I found my problem. The SP2 update deleted my e-mail account. I simply
readded my e-mail account and the icon returned. Good thing my mail is on a
server .
