Hello all!
I have a little situation. We are running a Windows XP environment with
a Windows 2k Server domain controller. Because of the blaster worm, we have
disabled the use of NetBios on each workstation. Now, after that, we can't
map drives and home folders to the server. Login is extremely quick,
however when we enable NetBios, login takes forever! (>5min) Now I know
that I'm not the only one trying to map user folders to the server, so if
anyone can offer some suggestions it would be extremely appreciated!
FYI - the server is my dns server, and the dns prefixes on the workstations
are setup correctly. The machines can login/join the domain perfectly fine,
with NetBios disabled. Otherwise it is very slow.
