XP SP2

I got the XP Service Pack 2 CD and installed it.When the
installation finished, the computer froze when it was
rebooting. I had to run XP set up from the operating
system CD. I repeated the operation and got frozen again.
Any suggestions on to avoid this problem. Thanks
