Installation failure

After running the XP bootdisk, I put in the cd. It
started to work, but then an error message came up. What
do I need to do to install Windows XP Pro?

Error:

Stop:c0000221 Unknown Hard Error
\systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll

What do you mean by "After running the XP bootdisk, I put in the CD"?
What bootdisk and what CD? Your WinXP CD is bootable. You don´t need a
separate bootdisk. Set your CD drive to primary bootdevice in the BIOS and
reboot with the WinXP CD in the drive.

Do you still get the errormessage then?

Did you checkt the hardware requirements for XP (See:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/evaluation/sysreqs.asp )
