I accidentally deleted the system32.exe file for winxp.
Is there any way i can download or retrieve it?

Strange, because my XP Home machine runs just fine without that file. You
actually don't want it because it's created by a Trojan virus. Read this:

You really don't want to get that file back. It's part of several
well-known viruses/worms. It is *not* a valid Windows file. Pay
particular attention to _all_ of the removal instructions:
