I pulled a few files out of the recycle bin and now I
can't delete them. I pulled them out to see what they
were and I can't open them either. The message I get is
as follows:
Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete [File Name]: Access is denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.
There are about 8 files that are doing this to me now, I
have tried running the computer in safe mode and in safe-
mode with command prompt, neither yeilded any luck.
A friend of mine, who's computer is directly in front of
me, has 21 files that are doing the same to her. Neither
of us can figure this out.

Hi Michael,
Run Scan Disk and Defrag. I had that happen to me awhile back and after
running these two programs I was able to get rid of the file.
Hope This Helps

Ditto here sometimes - Was able to remove such
files/folders using SafeMode. Also try unchecking ReadOnly
in properties of such folders.
