Most of the time after I write a CDROM and then go to
delete the temporary files I can not. I get an error
message about the files being in use. But the only use I
have for them is writing the CDROM. If I log out and log
back in then I can delete them.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chas

That sounds like a handle leak. Check for updates for your cd burning
software, and make sure you are storing those files in such a way that any
virus scanner you have isnt scanning them (create a special directory just
for them and exclude it in thie scanner).
Alternitively, you could use process explorer from sysinternals, or similar
tool to determine which application has the handle open.
