connection problems due to SP2

Hi ,
Downloaded SP2 ,since then i have had internet connection problems. I
have been in touch with my ISP and they say it is due to my NORTON FIRE WALL
conflicting with the SP2 FIREWALL .I have since turned off my NORTON
FIREWALL , but my internet connection is now very slow even though i have
broadband .I have windows xp . Can anyone help .
