I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the standard
Windows XP background colour (and its RGB value) is please?

Go to google/web
Type in "rgb 128 128 128"
Hundreds of results.........

"Dark grey" RGB 128, 128, 128

If looking for colors use google and search for 'color
wheel' or 'color chart'.

Example:

The best color is 'cornsilk' 255 255 204 #FFFFCC
