I have spent the last 1.5 hours looking for something I
think should be easy to find. However I have not found
it. I am trying to find the maximum RAM supported by
Windows XP. Both the Home Edition and the Professional
products. I found that XP Pro will support 4 GB of RAM.
Does anyone know what Windows XP Home Edition will
support?

Thanks

XP Home also supports 4 GB. However, the real limit is how much the
motherboard supports.

I spent less than a minute searching for this, but I did have a bookmark
saved from a while ago. Hope this helps.

Before you install Windows XP Home Edition, make sure your computer meets
the following minimum hardware requirements:

* 233 megahertz (MHz) Pentium or higher microprocessor (or equivalent)
* 128 megabytes (MB) recommended (64 MB of RAM minimum; 4 gigabytes (GB) of
RAM maximum)
---

That is in the Home.txt file under 1.1 "Hardware Requirements".

Google found it on the first seach for "Maximum RAM supported by Windows XP
Home".
