Occasionally XP Home will generate a system warning of some kind -- that my
virtual memory is getting low and it's increasing the allocation for example.
This is presented in a form that looks like a cartoon balloon which
originates from the system tray.
The problem is that it generates this warning underneath the other windows on
the screen. Frequently I can only see a word or two exposed. If I click on
the balloon to bring it to the front and read it, that makes it disappear
instead.
Is this how XP is supposed to work or have I configured something strangely?
Thanks....
