Hi,

upgraded to SP2 a week ago and went through the security
centre to enable the firewall, today I had to add a new
network connection and it says all the connections I have
are just 'Enabled', not 'Enabled,Firewalled'. When I
popped up the security centre it clearly says Firewall is
ON but it isn't. Anyway, manually turned firewall ON and
all was OK for a while but on rebooting it goes back
firewall disabled. I am also running ZoneAlarm Security
Suite which I ran before with no firewall issues - any
ideas?

Regards,

Matt

It's possible that zone alarm is programatically disabling windows firewall.
You probably don't need to have both running.
